In the center of Rosport, the local municipal administration, as the building owner, is creating urgently needed housing and additional commercial space in the former "Hôtel de la Poste" through extensive conversion and extension work. At the corner of the streets "Echternacher Straße" - "Henri Tudor Straße", the construction company IBB implements the newly planned architecture.
The total transformation will be realised on the basis of the existing front façade, which means that extensive extension and modernisation work will be necessary. The new building project creates a worthwhile densification in a central location and transforms an existing building into a compact residential and commercial project. In this way, the available land is guaranted to provide maximum use. The building project is characterised by dynamic lines and presents itself as a uniform building volume. The redesign of the residence creates a striking and inviting corner situation, which cleverly combines authenticity and modernity.
The residential building comprises 4 duplex flats, which lead from the first floor to the attic. The first floor also includes 2 flats and a duplex office area, which extends from the first floor to the attic. On the second floor there are the attics of the duplexes and offices and 2 additional flats. The sensitively designed interiors impress with the available space. The openings to the outside are also well thought out. 7 outdoor parking spaces are available. On the ground floor there is an underground car park with 13 parking spaces, a cellar and a commercial area. The residence is accessible via the Henri Tudor street.
