A total of 12 residential units offer living space from 76 to 145 sqm, two of them as duplex flats on the 3rd and 4th floor. The future owners can choose between 1-3 bedrooms. All flats have a terrace or balcony. The functional quality of life of the rooms is guaranteed by a proven sound insulation (double-shell insulated walls).

Clients will have the opportunity to submit their own  design ideas. Furnishing requests are worked out by the architect Bongartz and the IBB carpentry department.

The residence is equipped with a private underground car park of 14 parking spaces as well as a private cellar room per flat. The basement is accessible from the rear courtyard. An elevator leads the residents to their private area. Heating and technical rooms are also located in the basement..

 

Quality and highest standards down to the smallest detail

Sustainable building materials are the basis of the project. Low-energy standards (class B) will be reached thanks to the excellent thermal insulation of the outer shell and a modern, energy-saving building technology. The entire building will be triple-glazed, all windows will be fitted with electric aluminium roller shutters.

A sufficient number of solar collectors for on-roof installation are available for the heating of domestic hot water. A controlled ventilation system with heat recovery ensures a pleasant indoor climate at all times. All flats are equipped with an intercom system with bell and screen.

The small town of St.Vith is known for its open, modern and warm atmosphere with a lot of „joie-de-vivre“. The residential area with about 3,500 inhabitants is the economic and cultural centre in the south of East Belgium. It combines neatness and charm with the advantages of an urban area. The LACUNA residence will be part of the already existing, attractive residential and commercial area on the former railway station site, which enjoys direct access to the city centre via a convenient footpath.
