Architecture with a View
In this contemporary home, striking architecture meets an exceptional view. The generous orientation of the house opens up sweeping views of the surroundings, making its unique setting an integral part of the living concept.
IBB delivered the house as a complete turnkey project, from planning and coordination through to final completion. Particular architectural highlights are the façade and roof, where different materials and construction techniques have been combined to create a distinctive overall appearance.
The main façade features bonded bricks with no visible joints. Other parts of the building are clad with perforated Ruukki metal cassettes, powder-coated in RAL 8011 FS. The colour strongly resembles Corten steel, adding depth and texture to the façade while further emphasizing the building’s clean, contemporary lines.
The design of the roof also plays a key role in the distinctive silhouette of the house. Together with the façade, it creates a strong architectural frame that enhances the building’s exceptional setting and expansive views.
Wood as a Warm Contrast
Around the covered terrace and carport, the walls and ceilings are finished with DuraPatina Grey Washed timber cladding. The wood introduces warmth to the design and creates a deliberate contrast with the metal surfaces and black brick.
The terrace itself is finished with 60 × 60 cm ceramic tiles – understated, durable and harmoniously integrated into the architecture. It is also from here that one of the home’s greatest qualities can be fully appreciated: the unobstructed view of the surrounding landscape.
The result is a turnkey home in which architecture, materials and views come together in perfect harmony. Brick, metal, wood and ceramic give the building its individual character, while the façade, roof and exceptional setting create a truly distinctive identity.
